Betsy Steerman graduated from California State University Sacramento with an M.S. in Marriage and Family Counseling. Following graduation, Betsy worked for The Effort, Family Services in Auburn, and Sacramento County Mental Health. Previous to this assignment, she spent six years with the Agency for International Development (USAID) working in Tanzania, Tunisia and Washington, D.C. Currently, Betsy volunteers for several non-profit organizations, including the SHARE Institute. Ms. Steerman has volunteered with SHARE since 2003.
